Thursday we had our first blocking rehearsal with our director, Nancy Howells. My heart sank when I arrived at the hall and saw the lights off and found everyone on the doorstep unable to get in the building, but a quick visit to the Town Offices resolved the problem. It was just a little miscommunication and Dave was there in a flash to let us in. (We LOVE everyone at the Town Offices because they really take care of us!) Everything from then on went well.
Unlike me (Hansel), our Gretel, Linda, is very physically fit, so the dancing and jumping around didn't seem to phase her. I hate going to the gym and THIS was truly hard, but FUN!!!! I hope we will convey that to the audience.
