By this time next year we will have completed our first full production and will be in the middle of planning our second season. We spent the first half of 2007 thinking about starting an opera company and the second half doing it! We have a grant and a sizeable gift and have filed for 501(c)(3) status (a 47 page form with lots of financial projections).
Most importantly, we have a group of wonderful singers who love opera and want to make the extraordinary commitment necessary to produce a staged full length opera.
We look forward to 2008 and our Hansel & Gretel adventure!
